It was incredible to find such a comfortable villa in such a wild location. The villa is not big, but it has everything you need. You can tell it was made with a lot of love and care. They even provide robes, slippers, breakfast items, and a fully stocked minibar, which is so convenient since there are no shops within walking distance. The location is unique, with a stunning view of the rice terraces—no houses in front, offering complete seclusion and privacy. There are no tourists around, so you get to experience Bali in its untouched beauty. We were welcomed so warmly, and they prepared an incredible surprise that I will remember for the rest of my life. There was a bird in a cage, which we were asked to set free as a symbol of liberation. It was so unexpected, yet so beautiful and moving! Another amazing thing was that you can walk down to the river and wander through the rice fields completely alone. The energy there is something else—I've never felt anything like it anywhere else! I left feeling rejuvenated in both body and soul. I fell in love with this place forever!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gempinis Coffee Shop and Villa in Bali, and it was an unforgettable experience. The villa itself is a stunning blend of traditional Balinese design and modern comfort, creating a serene oasis that truly felt like a home away from home. Every detail, from the luxurious amenities to the breathtaking views, was meticulously crafted to enhance the stay. The staff at Gempinis Coffee Shop and Villa were exceptional. Their warmth and attentiveness made me feel incredibly welcome and well cared for throughout my visit. They went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met and provided invaluable local insights that enriched my trip. The surrounding area is just as impressive, offering a perfect mix of natural beauty and tranquility. Whether enjoying a quiet moment in the lush gardens or exploring the vibrant local culture, every moment was filled with delight. We loved how this hotel embraced all about Bali - the views across the island from the coast to the mountains, the traditional yet modern rooms, the beautiful architecture, the food, the peace and serenity. It has been my second time at Oemah Tepi Sawah. The best place I stayed in Bali. I didn’t want to leave it. The location is quiet, great around rice fields and jungle, the team is so lovely. I have done most of the activities they offer and I really enjoyed as you go always with a local guide providing information about their culture. This time I also helped Dewi (the owner) with the English classes for the kids in the village, it was very special. We had a great time! The food is delicious, I enjoyed every breakfast and dinner. This place is perfect for you if you want to immerse in the Balinese culture and the real Bali! Thank you Dewi, Putu and the rest of the team. I’ll come back!

This place was awesome! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the staff were lovely. The food was delicious. Our accommodation had everything we needed... from all the toiletries you need - beautiful body and shower creams... to unlimited purification water, tea coffee, etc... Their welcome drink and food were yummy. The presentation of the room and the facilities were above and beyond our expectations. The Internet was great. We LOVED the pool and its natural surroundings. We also went on lovely walks around the local road, seeing all the farm animals and talking to the pleasant locals. Thank you

We booked the lodge spountaneously and it was the best thing we could have done. I absolutely recommend it to everyone who loves the nature and a familiar surrounding. You will stay in a stunning rice terrase and the view and the lodges are a dream. Moreover after just one night we felt so welcomed and familiar because of the lovely hosts, who are truly there for their guests. We had great conversations and through that we learned a lot about the island. On top the local, selfmade food was so delicous and there are vegeterian and vegan offers. This magical place should definitely be on your bucket list, if you travel to Bali and I hope we have the oppurtunity to come back here again.

Had the best time in bali at kubu homestay. The view of the rice field right outside was so serene and peaceful, and one could also walk around the rice paddies and visit the local village nearby. Putu even gave me scooter lessons upon request and i had such an enjoyable ride around the empty village roads. The homely food cooked by his wife is amazing as well, the farm grown fruits are delicious, the bed super comfy as well with the soft sheets. Everything is just perfect, not forgetting the cooling weather here was such a great respite from the heat in other parts of bali. Had a friendly driver roi who kindly shared a lot about his local village and got to meet his family as well. Thank you for making ny experience here so memorable!

    The entire resort was wonderful.

    The entire resort was wonderful. This is not for someone looking for a 5 star resort but it is a 5 star eco resort. We thoroughly enjoyed the surroundings and wish we had had a longer time to do more hiking. The food was wonderful and staff went out of their way to be certain our stay was excellent.
