It has been my second time at Oemah Tepi Sawah. The best place I stayed in Bali. I didn’t want to leave it. The location is quiet, great around rice fields and jungle, the team is so lovely. I have done most of the activities they offer and I really enjoyed as you go always with a local guide providing information about their culture. This time I also helped Dewi (the owner) with the English classes for the kids in the village, it was very special. We had a great time! The food is delicious, I enjoyed every breakfast and dinner. This place is perfect for you if you want to immerse in the Balinese culture and the real Bali! Thank you Dewi, Putu and the rest of the team. I’ll come back!

Photos don't do this beautiful ecolodge justice. A wonderful place run by a super hands-on couple that are very passionate about their offering. Santi makes the most delicious meals, using only fresh natural ingredients. Made took us sightseeing and was only too happy to share his knowledge. Great views and walks through the rice fields and local village. We hope to visit again. By then the puppy Mars should be all grown up, watched over by his older brother, Bruno.

Extremely beautiful!! Surrounded by ricefields and jungle, the Huts are made with love and style. Every Hut is faced in a slightly different direction so that there is more a sense of privacy than in other accommodations. It's more or less quiet with a little bit street noise from the distance and the sound of crickets. The view from the resort is really nice, but from the huts you only see the small forest directly in front, so no view of the rice-paddies from the balcony. There are very nice waterfalls with ponds for swimming nearby (one at the padi bali resto on the other side of the street). There is hot water and wifi (the quality depends on the hut you are in). Breakfast is good, continental or indonesian.

This is one of the best guest houses I’ve ever stayed at! Located in the heart of the jungle, it offers breathtaking nature and absolute tranquility. The guest house’s grounds are stunning, with lush greenery all around, creating a truly magical atmosphere. On top of that, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more special. I highly recommend this guest house to everyone!

This place is really magical. If you are looking for a place, where time stops and you want to be properly connected with nature, this a place to stay. To see in the night so many fireflies is really magic! We loved not having WiFi and no electricity. The solar generated lighting was more than adequate. If we could, we would have loved to stay much longer. The bed was very comfy, the temperature for sleeping was lovely. Every morning Komar brought for us delicious breakfast. The architecture is amazing. Ady made the house with a soul. It was the best place from our travel.

The view is spectacular. The fireplace in the chilly nights is awesome. You can do barbecue and enjoy on call breakfast or dinner in the open air living room. A rare find in an awesome part of Bali. Jatiluwih and surrounginds are a real jem away from the noisy Ubud. Our drivers Nia and Adi recommended by the staff took us to awesome places. Memorable stay, would come back again. The Bamboo Forrest Restaurant 5 minutes away from the Cabins in the Forrest is not to be missed as well.

    This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money.

    This is basic accommodation, but reasonable value for money. It's immediately across the road from the terraces, and the walking track access. The owner is a nice guy, and does everything, reception, cleaning, cooking, etc. The breakfast was basic but tasty, and the Chicken Curry he cooked for me for lunch one of the best I've had in a while. He has a very friendly dog that followed me everywhere, and enjoyed a pat and tummy rub.

    We loved staying at Dwan Tea and regret not booking more nights. We felt like staying at our uncle or aunts place but with all the great features of a hotel. The staff was soooo nice and we had so many great conversations together. The room was huge, very luxurious and just amazing furniture and super comfy bed. And the pool and the view....wow!!!! It was an amazing night and morning at Dwan and if we come back to Bali we will definitely stay there again!

    Amazing cabin in the woods where you can connect with nature. This place isn’t for everyone, but if you’re willing to live without some amenities and need an escape from the crowds, this is your spot. Incredible hosts that make you feel at home. The Jatiluwih rice terraces are nearby if you have transportation.

    It was an amazing experience staying here. The place and surroundings are so beautiful . It felt like the real Bali and the hosters were so welcoming. They cook very well too! We definitely want to come back!!
