The surroundings were serene and the views were magnificent. Having a private warm natural spring bath at the door made it a spectacular experience. For anyone thinking to trek Mt Batur I highly recommend staying here for a night. My private tour was organised by the Villa on the night I arrived for the next morning. There were very accomodating, assisting and provided great value.

We really enjoyed our stay in these apartments! The staff was very friendly, explained everything to us, and showed us around. Our apartment was cozy, very clean, and had an amazing view of the lake, two volcanoes, and the mountains. The room had everything we needed, and the private bathtub on the terrace made our stay even more special – we even took some great photos there. The breakfast was tasty. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would love to come back!

Our stay at this hotel was truly memorable. The check-in process was fast and efficient, and we were warmly greeted with welcome drinks, which was a lovely gesture after our journey. The room we stayed in was perfectly located, offering an amazing view and a refreshing cool breeze that made our stay even more relaxing. Waking up to that view in the morning was a highlight of the trip. The hotel is also surrounded by many beautiful sights, making it easy to explore and enjoy the local attractions without having to travel far.     Kintamani is a little village away from the hustle and...

    Kintamani is a little village away from the hustle and bustle of the more popular tourist areas. We did the sunrise hike at Mt Batur and it was truly an amazing experience. We went to the hot springs after our hike and it was the best to soothe our muscles after the hike. If you are looking for a quieter area with beautiful volcano views and nature, then I definitely recommend spending some time there. Highly recommend Wayan Kitchen & Bar for a delicious meal and affordable Indonesian wine.

    Many restaurants and chill place.Beautiful perfect picture overlooking the mountains. Love the weather in kintamani.Must try their local delicacy. To get here is best to have a local guide that can drive you around.Many hotspring to visit.

    The facilities at Mount Batur Villa are really clean and well kept. The pool is excellent with picturesque views. Flies are the biggest problem for the area but there is not much can be done about that, given the vegetation in the region. The pre-dawn trip up Mount T Batur to see the sunrise is thoroughly worthwhile, as is the Jeep trip which followed to the black lava site. Had one night out in Kintamani for a meal but other than the mountain trip there is not much to do there. Couple of days there is my recommendation.

    Kintamani is a welcome breeze away from buzzing cities like Canggu and Ubud. It has beautiful nature around and is worth a visit. I would recommend to find a cool camping spot and hike up one of the volcanos.

    The time period is based on the amount of activities you plan in the area. But if you just want to do hiking up the Mount Batur or only the Jeep in the sunrise - 1 night is enough of stay. The day before and after could be used for getting the views and some restaurants.

    Kintamani is out of the way, but the drive/sites are...

    Kintamani is out of the way, but the drive/sites are incredible. We were going to hike up Mt Batur but then we would have missed other sites (due to climbing at night). However I am sure it would have been great! Most travel companies leave from Ubud not Kintamani. Recommend restful stay after the climb here. Not too many English literate people here but very kind and accommodating. Too many dogs!

    The property was amazing! The view, the villa, the food, the staff, everything was fantastic. Luis looked after us from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. He was amazing and tended to all of our needs. He even lent me his jacket for our mount Batur trip as I forgot mine. We recommend Villa Danu 100%, it was honestly the best experience that we had in Bali. Thank you Luis for being amazing!

    Lovely welcome, we arrived when it was dark and in a taxi the staff came to find us which was really nice of them :) easy to organise mount batur did it this morning and was the best experience ever, had the loveliest guide too. Hot springs bath too, really good place would recommend and a little bit different to the usual route travelling bali :)

    The views of the mountains were amazing. The location made mountain and lake activities more accessible than in other areas of Bali. The staff provided a free shuttle to the main road. Staff were easily contactable by WhatsApp, and were no problem when we left early.
