The on-site facilities are outstanding, with a communal fire pit that was perfect for evenings spent under the sky, amazing Hotspring, a little store stocked with Toteme merch and a dining area that served up some of the most delicious meals we've had in this area - made from locally sourced ingredients, no less! Very nice hotel in the mountains. Make sure to pack some warm cloths it can get a bit chilly. Super nice and helpful staff, complementary tea time and they even warm your bed up every night before sleep. Good food and great location if you want to visit some temples (such as the mother Tempel) and do the mount batur sunrise hike!

Amazing magical view from the bed and from the terrace. Good quality amenities. The owners were very helpful, thank you! There is a restaurant 5 min walking (they can get you by motorbike for free) which has good food and very nice views

    The facilities at Mount Batur Villa are really clean and...

    The facilities at Mount Batur Villa are really clean and well kept. The pool is excellent with picturesque views. Flies are the biggest problem for the area but there is not much can be done about that, given the vegetation in the region. The pre-dawn trip up Mount T Batur to see the sunrise is thoroughly worthwhile, as is the Jeep trip which followed to the black lava site. Had one night out in Kintamani for a meal but other than the mountain trip there is not much to do there. Couple of days there is my recommendation.

    Kintamani is a welcome breeze away from buzzing cities like Canggu and Ubud. It has beautiful nature around and is worth a visit. I would recommend to find a cool camping spot and hike up one of the volcanos.

    The time period is based on the amount of activities you plan in the area. But if you just want to do hiking up the Mount Batur or only the Jeep in the sunrise - 1 night is enough of stay. The day before and after could be used for getting the views and some restaurants.

    Kintamani is out of the way, but the drive/sites are...

    Kintamani is out of the way, but the drive/sites are incredible. We were going to hike up Mt Batur but then we would have missed other sites (due to climbing at night). However I am sure it would have been great! Most travel companies leave from Ubud not Kintamani. Recommend restful stay after the climb here. Not too many English literate people here but very kind and accommodating. Too many dogs!

    This is a stunning area of Bali with the Geopark and many attractions around. Totally different pace to Ubud and other parts of the south. Thoroughly enjoyed the change of scene and pace here, and as always the people are so nice.

    A great place for a few nights overlooking the lake, with their own hot spring. Staff is very helpful and try to answer to all you needs. A bit remote but we like it. The most amazing shower during our stay in Bali. Very clean, nice friendly attentive staff Amazing view. Breakfast basic but freshly made. Very comfortable bed. great help with organising our local activities.
