Our family stayed here for three nights. We had an amazing time! Situated on a ridge above the village, Aranka Tempasan offers wonderful views of Mount Rinjani in the background. Reached via a macadam path, it feels like you've entered another world when you arrive. There are also various activities on offer with a local guide. We visited an authentic local village and took a trip into the nearby jungle to see the waterfalls. We also took a painting course. The owner, Berry, is very warm-hearted and has a great sense of how to run the business. Together with the very kind staff, he runs the business as a community. Needless to say, the food is delicious, too. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to relax in nature and experience the local way of life.

Beautiful little tucked away place, super friendly locals and the owner is very accomodating and took me on a morning trip to tetabatu aswell. Great stay, would reccomend.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The surroundings were so peaceful and beautiful, with relaxing nature and a lovely riverside view. The host family was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home and treating us like part of their own family. We had booked for 2 nights but loved it so much that we extended our stay by another day. Highly, highly recommend this place — we would definitely love to visit again!

The building is a marvellous traditional wooden building. The staff are wonderful. Beds huge and super comfortable. They have a gymnasium! They have lovely garden and great rice paddy views. The food was traditional Indonesian food and was excellent. Air con was great. Rooms are huge. The place is a real hidden little gem.

We had a truly incredible three days at the villa and with Abdi, who was there for us throughout our stay. The villa is beautiful, with a lovely view of Mount Rinjani if ​​you wake up early in the morning, as well as direct access to the rice fields. Everything is super clean and well-appointed. Amazing local experience within the amazing familly. Amazing, various food is given for the meals (i asked for local breakfast which was great experience too) in quantities and variety you cant imagine. You can also get organized trips to the beach / monkey forest-waterfalls- rice fileds or other taxi drop off.

Staff were really friendly and welcoming they made sure I had everything I need for my stay. The owner also gave me opportunities to meet his friends and family and also to teach at a local school which was a great experience. I would highly recommend muni’s bungalows( one in masbagik or lendang belo) for both family and solo travellers. His English was very good which made the stay even more nice, he offered me tea and coffee everytime I saw him, which went well with his delicious breakfast.
