Pros: there is a Wi-Fi ready to help the girls at the reception (they gave my son a deep plate when he needed it), a good location from the beach - 2 steps, a beautiful facade of the building, there is stable hot water - a big plus.

The rooms were very nice, there is a plesant common space perfect for chilling out. Very close to the beach, the staff was extreamly helpfull. No problems with airport pick up and drop off. Would recomend 🥰

Our stay was one of the highlights of our 2-months Indonesia trip. Java Turtle Lodge is an exceptionally beautiful place to stay at where they look after you and want you to have the best experience. Our villa was clean & comfy, showers were hot, food was delicious and the garden is actually my dream garden with a fish pond and hammocks. We had an amazing time on our Sukamade turtle trip. In all honesty, this was the most expensive trip we paid for on our trip, but it was so worth it. First we visited Green Bay for a little hike & swim, then we had a fun 2 hours jeep ride, deep in nature, to Sukamade beach. Later, we went to the beach to spot turtles who might come to lay their eggs. We were not lucky to see one in action, but we followed her way back into the ocean. We spent the night at the national park rangers’ post, which was a minimal room but had everything we needed. And the best thing… we released baby turtles in the morning. Everyone included in this trip was genuine and treated animals fairly. A much recommended stay and trip!

This place is a true find, offering incredible value for money. The property is just steps away from the surf spot, and the selection of rental boards is not only extensive but also in excellent condition—something rare in the area. The amenities are top-notch: the coffee is exceptionally good (a rarity around here), and the rooms are comfortable and well-equipped with a perfectly cozy bed, reliable AC, and a hot water shower—everything you need after a day of surfing or exploring. Also, the property’s restaurant is exceptional! What really sets this place apart is the exceptional service. Kukuh, the manager, goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is seamless. Whether it’s arranging a scooter rental, helping you buy local coffee, organizing a driver, or even planning a visit to the Turtle Reserve, he’s always ready to assist with a smile and genuine kindness. If you’re looking for a welcoming, well-located, and hassle-free stay, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

The place looks amazing. The room was clean and spacious, and its view is on a beautiful garden. Sri is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is very good. The beach is 2 minutes walking. We definitely recommend this place!

Sri is just the nicest host! We originally wanted to stay two nights but ended up doing so many different tours with her so we extended to five nights! Just ask her for your tour wishes and she will make it happen! And she can also help you with how to get there and basically everything you need. On top of that she is a great cook! If you are looking for a way to get in touch with the locals in the most beautiful area of East Java you can stop searching! Just the best homestay experience in Java 5/5 thank you for everything Sri!
