Catherine the owner was absolutely fantastic. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble for her or her amazing staff. Food was superb and breakfast was available any time you wanted it. Breakfast was also exceptionally good. Our room was stunning with everything we could possibly need. We will definitely return if we are in Bali. I have never seen my wife so emotional to leave anywhere before. Truly magical place and so relaxing. Thank you again Catherine

We had such a great stay at Barefoot Glamping. From the moment we arrived, everything felt easy and welcoming. The team were genuinely kind and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling over the top. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, spotless, and designed in a way that felt both stylish and comfortable. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into every detail, from the bedding to the lighting and layout. The food was consistently excellent, fresh, local, and full of flavour. It was clear that real care went into every meal. What really made the experience stand out were the surroundings. The setting is stunning! Peaceful, green, and so quiet that you instantly feel switched off from everything else. It had such a calm, retreat-like atmosphere that we both felt completely recharged by the time we left. There’s also so much to do nearby. We went on a sunset tour, tried fishing, hiked to a waterfall, and spent time diving in the clearest water, all within easy reach. Barefoot Glamping strikes the perfect balance between comfort, nature, and adventure. It’s one of those places you leave already planning to come back.

You must remember this is a BnB accomidation its a very private compound with only a couple of guest room. Very private. Such a personal experience better than being in a hotel. The staff are amazing and GoGo just makes it feel like home. Our first two days there were others staying there so we didn't ask much of the staff. After they left we had the whole place to ourselves and to our dismay the owners who we were hoping to meet had also gone on holiday. So we took the chance to make the place like home and asked that the owners dog be aloud out to play with us. Our kids loved having the animals around. The pool was right out our front door and behind that the beach and ocean. There was a massage hut and a small hut with a beer fridge and seating to watch the sunsets. They are very accomidating with people's needs and when we asked if our family could come to us instead of us going up the mountain to their house every day we were told to bring them down and they were most welcome. The staff organised a fishing trip for myself and my brother in laws and we even had use of the kayaks which were a huge hit with my son.

Our three-night stay at The Kirana Tembok hotel was nothing short of a serene escape. Nestled in tranquility, this place felt like a slice of paradise on Earth. The ambiance was serene, offering a haven of peace. The meticulously landscaped garden and the majestic pool truly added to the beauty of the place. It was a delight to unwind amidst such captivating surroundings. While the food was decent, it perhaps could have matched the outstanding quality of the ambiance and amenities. Nevertheless, it did not overshadow the overall wonderful experience.

Honestly Komang the host made this place for me. He is deeply insightful about the local area and took me to visit the oldest temple in Bali and was also able to cater for my vegan dietary requirements which is quite difficult in Kintamani. The room was clean and couldn’t ask for more in the location it is in!

The exceptional hospitality - The host went above and beyond to ensure our stay is as enjoyable as possible. I must say this is by far our best experience in Bali during our one-week trip. Putu picked us up from Kintamani and as we didn’t have anything planned, he recommended a local hot spring and dinner spot, they did not disappoint. Putu and Kadek were also so kindly arranged a ‘sure-win’ fishing experience for the kids, my boys thoroughly enjoyed it and asked to go again the next morning! The highlight of the day was definitely the campfire right in front of the cabin. It was such an amazing yet romantic way to end the day. Putu even crafted a makeshift fire torch for the kids to take photo with, talk about dream come true! These will be memories which we will cherish for a long long time. I have nothing but grateful for this wonderful experience, thank you so much again! I hope we will return to hike mount Batur in the future with Putu’s team.
