IndonesiaWe had amazing stay, staying in water bungalow with hammock with natural swimming pool which ocean view is just another postcard from last paradise. 2 Toilettes are always cleaned and separated from the room which we preferred. Snorkelling point just by the jetty with loads of tropical colourful fishes, food is simple but delicious and generous with also varied and adapting to western tastes. Nearby there are 2 diveshops Just 1h boat ride from Wasai, Pak Yulianus picked us up from the port and offered excursion to Piaynemo, Manta View, Teluk Bintang, Rufas and Arborek with very reasonable price
During low tide you can walk to nearby village Yenbuba and return got picked up by boat
We were really looked after and handled with care.Very elegant people the whole family.we were extremely grateful by their kindness and mostly hospitality
They are all playing the game went above and beyond to make our stay memorable

ItalyGreat place. On a fairly remote island, very quiet and beautiful location with a nice sunset view (there are two more homestays on the other side of the island, less fascinating than coco hut). Two hours from Waisai (the boat trip well arranged by the homestay is nice in itself) and two and a half hours from the absolutely amazing Wayag (weather permitting - they arrange a trip with their local boats at a fair price). Trips to nearby islands to snorkel, manta spots and great sandbank's sunset are also available (Vince can help you arrange them).
The bungalows are comfortable and with a nice view (perhaps hammocks could be better fixed and an additional chair added on the deck for further improvement).
The food is very good, the hosts and staff provide great service and the shared bathroom is good (when compared to other homestays in the area) and always kept clean.
Great value.

The location is awesome! beach is really quiet and Nice! it is a Paradise! They are next to one of The Best snorkeling spots! With amazing Corals and hundreds of different colorful fishes.

PortugalThe BEST guesthouse! Recky was very professional and welcoming. Devy and Adelia made sure we were comfortable and happy. Bungalows with private bathrooms facing the ocean. Amazing food, each meal different from the last. The chef even made a surprise birthday cake for my boyfriend! 🎂 Incredible snorkeling just in front of the bungalows! If you don't like falling asleep with the sound of the waves this is not the place for you! 🤭 Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

It was a long boat ride from Sorong.
It was a long boat ride from Sorong. About half way there it got very rough and the speed boat didn't reduce the speed, creating very uncomfortable and violent slams as the boat dropped 3 to 4 feet and hit the water hard. I don't recommend this trip for anyone with a bad back.

Was interesting to explore the island. if you stay here there is an ATM in raja ampat city not far from the accommodation at an indomart. The roads are not too busy. We used a scooter. There are cars available to go to blue river or other places.

One the most enchanting place on earth.
One the most enchanting place on earth. I have travelled to many places (Carribbean, Hawaii, Fiji, Bali, Philippines, South America...) Raja Ampat ranks among the firsts: snorkeling in spectacular clear waters, diving in ocean paradise full of diversity. I like the people too, they are helpful and calm. Though life isn't easy for anybody...
Getting around is mainly by taxis (cars, motorbike, taxi boat...), isn't difficult to find but can be very costly.
Be sure to have a local SIM by registering your phone with a provider as internet isn't widely available. I was recommended Telkomsel and it worked pretty ok just a bit slower than in Europe, got network problem on one afternoon. This along with power banks and eventually a flashlight. Night time isn't powered with lamps, some places do with solar panels but may not be sufficient in term of lighting. Waterproof bags are a must to protect your items during your trips, + sunscreen clothing/accessories. I am not mentioning lotions as they can be a source of pollution to water and marine life.
Mosquitoes are plenty everywhere, and very hungry...
