United StatesThe location of the B&B was perfect. It sits on a lovely hill over looking a small river with a park and walking paths. The property has a small restaurant that has many choices from beef, chicken, vegie and fish. the portion size was very generous. The grounds of the B&B are a site to see from flowers settings, giant trees and quite secrete spots. From there one can drive quickly to many historical sites. You cant go wrong staying here.

I met up with a lot of friends and relatives so didn't have much for sightseeing apart from going on a lovely walk by the Suir as far as Carey's Castle. I found a lovely restaurant the Queen Bee in Irishtown where they serve lovely food and staff are very helpful and friendly. Visiting Clonmel and seeing relatives for the first time in over 50 years. It was easy to get to a lot of places, The only down side was the recycling bin, which had not been emptied for some time and we had trouble putting our rubbish out.Guest review byCaffrey - 6.0

There wasn't a great deal to see and do apart from exploring the old streets, town wall etc, and it's a typical old Irish town in many ways. Like most old Irish towns it doesn't make great use of the outdoor spaces despite having a big river in the middle, for example more riverside parks would be great, mostly it was car parks and a quay. I stayed at Befani's Mediterranean guest house which exceeded all my expectations. The purpose of my visit was to visit friends. I loved the coffee shops and restaurants. Gave myself lots of time to view places of historical interest. I took a beautiful stroll by the river Suir. I visited the shops and viewed the excellent merchandise where I picked up a few items. I loved the piazza shop under the West Gate who served delicious piazzas and hosted by a very friendly Polish man. I am looking forward to my next trip to ClonmelGuest review byMaryUnited Kingdom

The rooms are cosy and warm wither excellent showers, on .my second visit, I got to meet the owners, Richard and Esther.
