All the preservation of the estate is exceptionally on point. Having the animals at the property just makes you out more do the walking trails, experience the wild.. just perfect The spa area is definitely just one of the best in all of Ireland!! The facilities are just stunning, and the heating pool outside with the views of nature.. amazing.. The bedrooms are super clean, a very large room and I had the balcony with a view of the sheep grazing.. supeeer The food menus from the room service to the bar or even the breakfast was really good as well, good portions and not expensive

Location could not be better. It is on Main Street so bang in the centre of Cavan. All staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. My room and bathroom were spacious, with a kettle and tea and coffee, a hair dryer and a safe box - all in great working order. The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet even though it was in the middle of town. There was also an ironing board and iron outside in the corridor for guests' use which was a great idea. Breakfast was very adequate with a good choice. I had meals in the Carvery and also the bar, both of which were very good value. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Remote location was very peaceful, I was working on a project and needed some peace and quiet. Only a short drive to Killeshandra for dinner and drinks, an able bodied person could walk to the town via the forest path. An old fashioned farmhouse. The hosts are lovely people and were very helpful.

The lovely Irish welcome from Mary and Bridey as soon as we arrived. A lovely cup of tea in their front room and friendly conversation, we were treated like part of the family as soon as we arrived. The property was clean and the room was spacious, especially the bathroom. Everything was brand new and well thought out for guests. Bridey made us a lovely breakfast of scrambled egg and nothing was too much or too little to make our one night stay so memorable. The ladies were lovely hosts, and we will be back again to stay for a few more nights at this traditional Irish bed and breakfast.

Owners were very welcoming and extremely accommodating of my wee boys fussy diet! Room was spacious, providing shower gel & shampoo in the bathroom was a nice touch. It felt like a home from home!

    Quiet but with everything we needed.

    Quiet but with everything we needed. Close to the wedding venue in Hilton Park. One member had a flat tire at night and had a very early flight in Dublin. A local mechanic opened his shop and fixed the tire quickly and very reasonably.

    I found the signage was a little difficult to see but...

    I found the signage was a little difficult to see but eventually found it when told it was across from the church. It's a very quiet area with not much going on around it. The restaurant just up the street was very good. Butlers Bridge was just a stop off for me on my way towards Donegal.
