Drogheda is much bigger than I expected.
Drogheda is much bigger than I expected. It’s very spread out and was quite congested with traffic when I was there so maybe a little difficult for driving if unfamiliar with the area. It is a very old town with lots of history and old buildings and has short distances to nearby beauty spots. Booking & check in were easy & efficient. The room & breakfast were excellent, Hotel nicely situated & grounds very pleasant. Easy ot get a cab with Uber app (or other apps - it is all the same taxis so no difference in price). The train station is a 10-15 min walk, easy to take a train to Dublin or Belfast. Als main busstation is just 10 min walk (if you don;t have too muach heavy luggage). All appliances worked and the hosts send us a pdf with all instructions, which made it easy and efficient.
