Beautiful location, quiet as it's away from the road but easy enough to get to the main town. The hosts were amazing, so accommodating and lovely to chat to. The building and gardens were meticulously maintained and very enjoyable to be in the property. Would recommend to anyone traveling through the area!

Dunfanaghy is a beautiful part of Co Donegal with lots to do. The village itself has lots of bars, cafes and restaurants. We loved our walk through Lurgabrack nature reserve to Tramore Beach, one of the best beaches we have ever been too! Hornhead is a fabulous scenic drive and a trip to Marble Hill beach and Ards forest park are also worth a visit.

Dunfanaghy is a fantastic Spot to holiday in.

Dunfanaghy is a fantastic Spot to holiday in. Lots of little restaurants like Lizzie's for great food (Seafood Chowder is a must!). We loved getting our walk around Horn Head and went for a little swim in the water at Marble Hill Beach. We visited for the Blues and Jazz festival.

Beautiful part of the country. So much to explore.

Beautiful part of the country. So much to explore. We had 5 nights and could have stayed longer exploring. Kids loved heading to beech even in evening after a day out. Was great to have a few options close by. Few nice places to eat. Some of local shops a bit dearer for groceries but that's to be expected in a holiday town. You won't go hungry or bored in Dunfanaghy. We had the car so got to explore further but still would have liked some more time. We were blessed with the weather but regardless its a beautiful part of the country rain or shine

A beautiful spot with a wide beach and another down the road which was very safe and ideal for children. A great choice of places to eat, mostly beautifully cooked food. Live traditional music in an informal setting.

The house just outside Dunfanaghy was a great location for exploring the area. The beaches were awesome but the weather wasn't good enough to make full use.....that's just how it goes....just means I'll need to go again. There were plenty of other things to see and do that kept us out of rain showers. The Wild Atlantic Way drive is amazing. Glenvaegh castle is well worth a visit and if it's dry that area would be great for walking. Evening in Dunfanaghy listening to traditional music in the pub was great too. Letterkenny good for a shopping trip.

Beautiful location. Relaxing. Lovely surroundings. Quirky, well thought out, characterful accommodation. Beautiful walks from the accommodation around the enchanted grounds and along the road behind. Loved the winding mill stream and fairy glen. Fabulous views. Scenic drive. Kitchen, sitting room dining room and relaxing space outside superb. Very clean tidy and presentable. Easy drive to Dunfanaghy, Marble hill and many more beautiful places. Calm peaceful, beautiful, characterful and friendly.

Location is sublime. Staff are wonderful. I love this hotel, I really do; a regular visitor first over 30 years. The only issue, and not a major one, my wife and I have ever had, which isn't enough to put us off returning, though is a bit disappointing, is the food. In truth, there is an element of hit and miss. This applies to both evening meals and to breakfast.
