Located next to the river and some amazing sceneries this yurt is a unique experience for someone who is looking for a gateaway. The facilities provided make the experience cozy and comfortable. A once in a lifetime opportunity to stay in such a breathtaking home, in such a beautiful place. Sean and Patricia are an absolute delight, they go above and beyond to accommodate. Patricia is a lovely cook, Sean is a wonderful host. They make a great team. Highly recommend Ballyteige Lodge if you want an authentic Wicklow experience.

    I had car trouble and my phone wasn't working properly they made calls for me and also brought us drinks and allowed us the use of the bathroom after we had checked out and were awaiting the tow truck. Excellent service!

    Fine location, very friendly host . Fine Irish breakfast. Just one point to mention for dinner you need to drive a few kilometres further , there is one restaurant (from hotel) in the neighbourhood but have not always free table due to reservation of hotel guests .

    I want to go back.

    I want to go back. A wonderful old house in the country, not far from Aughrim. Beautiful countryside, amazing views from the house. The house is immaculate and interesting. Svetlana and Jeff have loved this house and it shows. Everything is chic, unique and amazing. This is not a hotel it is a piece of history and is so comfortable. I am going back in the summer to lounge on the deck and watch the sunset over the wicklow mountains.

    We went to BrookLodge and Macreddin for a wedding so didn’t explore much of the surrounding area, but from the drive in, it looked beautiful.. once at the hotel we found that to be as equally as beautiful

    A beautiful, old country house steeped in history. Set in lovely grounds to stroll around with lots of different chill out areas to enjoy nature. It was fun coming across the duck, chickens and Mrs Peacock as well as the three very welcoming dogs! A delicious breakfast, wifi worked well, comfortable bed. If you want a quiet countryside escape, this is ideal to discover the beautiful county of Wicklow. A delightful, rural location about 5km from the pretty town of Aughrim with its variety of amenities.

    Location was perfect. We travelled to Aughrim for an inter county football match & walked to the County pitch. Breakfast was exceptional ( cooked fresh after we ordered). The accommodation which was recently tastefully refurbished was so comfortable, spotless & really warm and cosy. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. We also had a detailed tourist guide of the local area from the owner. I would highly recommend this accommodation & I will return in the future.
