The location is fantastic, absolutely spotless hotel , my room was fantastic. It was big and had a large private balcony with a gorgeous view of the river and all of the city , the hand soap /shampoo had such a nice smell, the bed was very comfortable and the pillows you had a choice of a soft one or a firm one , lots of tea and coffee and more milk then usually given, 3 toilet papers given . Despite being in a busy location it felt very quiet , plenty of plug sockets and even usb ports

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our wonderful hostess, who kindly informed us in advance about upcoming roadworks that would limit access to the property. This thoughtful communication was greatly appreciated and made our arrival smooth and stress-free. The house itself is immaculate and well-maintained, with incredibly comfortable beds that ensured we had restful nights. The location is simply perfect—just a 20-minute walk to the vibrant Tramore strip and a mere 10 minutes to the town center. Plus, having a bus stop right outside the door made exploring Waterford city a breeze, with buses running every 30 minutes. Overall, I would give Moorings by the Sea a well-deserved 5-star rating! It’s an ideal spot for families looking to enjoy a relaxing and convenient getaway. Highly recommended!

Lovely town placed by the sea. Beautiful beach. Very nice Doneraile walk by the clifs. In future we will go there again. There is a fun park by the beach, good for family visit. You can find many cafe and small bars, places where serving fish and chips, churros etc or Aldi stor very near to the beach. There is a big free car park and toilets by the beach. In the city there is fabulous Japanese garden very worth to see it, good place for relaxing walk.

Has everything you need to entertain kids big and small,the beach,funfair,arcades,splash world.Shops and restaurants all within walking distance.Apartment location great,only few minutes walk to beach.Had everything we needed as a family of 4.Lovely and clean very family friendly.Definitely return again.

We were there on the last weekend of the summer season...

We were there on the last weekend of the summer season before the amusement park was scheduled to shut down so there were still lots of people and activities available. Plenty of restaurants and pubs. The beach is spacious but rocky and there are lots of rails to hike as well as just walking on the paths around town. Only 15-20 minutes to Waterford and the attractions there. A nice quiet place to stay with easy access to things to do.

Tramore as sea side resort like it used to be is not the same the people do not seem to be turning up pity to see a hotels closed up. Where I stayed was clean tidy staff were mannerly the hotel was very dated I suppose after covid its hard to keep going.

Tramore is a beautiful town with something in it for people...

Tramore is a beautiful town with something in it for people of all ages and tastes, scenic drives and walkways and also the little funfair and indoor swimming pool. There are a great selection of eateries and bars also to whet one's appetite. The beach is lovely, lots of space, it rarely feels crowded. I look forward to visiting Tramore again soon.

The house was very spacious and well equipped. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. It was good that there was a drive . Well equipped kitchen which included a washer,dishwasher, cooker,microwave, toaster and kettle. Plenty of cutlery, pots and pans. The house is in a quiet area which is good. There is a pub (The Ritz) within a 10 minute walk and a taxi into Tramore centre is approximately €7.

The home was beautiful and had plenty of parking. The hosts were so nice. Breakfast was delicious. It is a short walk to the beach and the village, which offers restaurants, bars, a bit of shopping, etc. Very close to Waterford. Very nice stay!
