My husband and I stayed here for three nights. The room we stayed in was spotless and so comfortable. We had a continental breakfast every morning which was delicious and a great way to start the day. Oliver was an amazing host and so friendly. Kate's rest is close to Kilkenny city and other locations. I would definitely recommend staying here and will definitely be back 😄

We received a large room with a very comfortable bed. The room was clean with lots of natural light, cubpoard space and a desk. Staff at reception and at the restaurant gave us a very warm welcome and were helpful throughout our stay. We loved sleeping with the cold air thanks to partially opening windows. Conveniently located in the heart of Thurles.

The breakfast already on offer was wonderful, but we asked the host if we could possibly have the full Irish breakfast at an extra cost. He complied and we found that very positive, and the price was very reasonable. We also had a slight mishap (I cut my finger) and he was extremely helpful. Every one of our wishes was his command. Highly recommended.
