It was so beautiful and cosie, an amazing retreat to decompress from the stresses of life. The location was amazing and so nice to hear the waves lapping and see the bay from the warmth of the sofa. Wicklow has a lot to offer. In my experience, the Wicklow Gap was great for a hike, Glendalough has fascinating ancient ruins, and Brittas Bay is perfect for a swim or a walk. Bray is such a lovely town, with a beautiful seaside promenade.

We stayed at the Bridge Tavern which is in a good location to explore the town and the harbour, and also has a very good restaurant. St Patrick's Church is worth a visit, as is the Historic Gaol and the harbour area

Wicklow and Arklow were beautiful with plenty of shopping i bought some books from the bookstore which was well stocked I would recommend the Bridge Tavern to stay nice walks around the town and harbour in Wicklow only downside was lack of free parking

Wicklow is a historic town and still an operating harbour, in the vicinity of the Wicklow mountains. There's plenty of interest in the town, including the harbour area including the Black Tower, and the Old Gaol museum. There's pubs and restaurants to suit most tastes - I ate at the Blue seafood restaurant on the quay and it was excellent. For lighter meals there are cafes, coffee-houses and bakery tea rooms to from hipster to traditional. I busy, fun town.

The view of the Wicklow Mountains, while immersed in nature, an expansive property complete with Llamas, yoga studio, gardens and a peaceful ambiance throughout the building helped me relax after a very long journey. If you're looking for a more holistic get-away this would be the place to go.

The room and batchroom were clean and well equipped. The breakfast (porridge and Irish breakfast) was delicious, it was even possible to choose from different meals. The hotel is at a remove location, close to the forest. Lot of birds were singing around the house. The staff served all of our requests.

The spa was fantastic, quiet in the early morning. There was plenty of space to park outside and the hotel itself is very cosy and modern. The surrounding area is peaceful and has great views, as well access to the shed with alpacas. Good breakfast included.
