Had a great stay at Mangal Residency. Very nice hotel. Service is very good. Staff is polite and smiles whenever you talk to them. Especially Mr. Mahesh and Mr. Sanju. Both are always ready to help with any problem.

Very good solution for backpackers in Udaipur, the location is very close to the City Palace. Both the room and the bathroom were as per the picture. Moreover, we really felt welcomed by Pappu who is the BEST host. Definitely recommend a stay here.

The view of the lake from the rooms and restaurant is unmatched in this price range. The room war very clean and the breakfast could satisfy every need. Finally, the staff was very friendly and helpful, always there to meet our all our needs. The hotel is also really central which is very convenient.

Everything. The facility is managed impeccably well by the lovely people of the house. You're greeted as if you've come back to your own house after long travels, with enthusiasm and a warm smile to not just the Haveli, but the entire city. We were given tour to the entire Haveli and the pleasure of making acquaintance with Mr. Akshay and his lovely family. The food served at the facility was delicious, the buffet breakfast had a variety of spread. We also took every suggestion Mr. Akshay gave us for restaurants and those added great value to our overall experience, we're customers for life to those restaurants and at Mr. Akshay's. Sure there are five star hotels in Udaipur, but none of them come even close to the experience of living here. This place has is the heart of Udaipur and now it has mine too.

The location was perfect! The rooms were huge and very clean. We booked all three rooms for our group. The room on the third level had an amazing terrace overlooking the lake. Perfect for a predinner drink to watch the sunset. Despite being a relatively modern building, it had a lot of charm, with heritage features. We found the staff very helpful. When some of us were unwell Jessu was concerned and offered good advice about what to eat and what to avoid.

This was hands down one of the most beautiful places we ever stayed in India. It's clearly ran with a lot of love and attention and that's reflected in the wonderful staff, spotless premises and a very relaxing energy. Having a live sitar playing over breakfast was something we never expected and it added to the overall feel of staying in an oasis. We would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for home away from home and are looking forward to coming back.
