Jodhpur is an interesting historic city with a magnificent fort towering over the old blue city. The area around the clocktower has numerous bazaars and places to stay and eat, great for shopping and exploring. Jodhpur offers wonderful local handcrafts and is worth visiting for this alone. The old blue city can be reached by foot from the clocktower area and it is worth wandering through the narrow laneways and alleys to get a sense of history and living in this part of Rajasthan.Guest review byMyersThailand - 6.0

the Mehrangarh fort, the Umaid Palace was worth it. Some restaurants were good. Shopping is great if you have time to look at many stires. The tax drivers take a cut by taking you to their know shopping places - please avoid and do your own research. Showers had hot water and the mattress and pillows were the best in the 3 weeks we have been in India. We will definitely return to this hotel.
