We had an amazing stay! This place offered a wonderful view. We had an extra guest with us, and the host was very accommodating, ensuring everyone was comfortable. The host was incredibly friendly and provided excellent guidance on local attractions. During our stay, it was quite cold, and they promptly provided a heater, which was really helpful. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort of our stay.

The lodge is in a quiet, green valley, about 15 kms from Cherrapunji town. Though the room was small, it was comfortable, clean and had all the amenities. Mr, Ban, the owner, went out of his way to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. He also took us around for sightseeing. And we came to know a lot about Khasi culture from him as he explained everything in detail. The staff were also very nice and helpful. Dinners were simple Khasi fare, very delicious!

Owners Emil amd Sylivia were kind, fun loving people. We had wonderful conversations sharing our different cultures and views. Sylvia will go above and beyond, a mother and kind caretaker. My favorite homestay hosts. Wpuls definitely stay again and recommend them. Be prepared to have no wifi, but there is excellent cellular service.
