    The City of Brass is known for its great work on Brass items. One of the Rich city of western part of Uttar Pradesh is also known for its Culture and tradition. The city is also famous after the name of famous Urdu Poet Jigar Moradabadi, Hindi Poet Dushyant Kumar and Maheshwar Tiwari. I would like to come again to explore.

    Moradabad is known as Peetal Nagari (The city of Brassware).

    Moradabad is known as Peetal Nagari (The city of Brassware). It is known world over as a place where artisans create beautiful and magical decorations articles and wares of Brass. Moradabad is a place known to us since our childhood. We were born here. We were returning after 30 years. It is a crowded place now. But Modern shops , KFC, Adidas and other showrooms have opened. The schools where we studied have changed a lot. Sahaspur-Bilari House was very close to my wife's place. It was palace of with large gardens at that time, where erstwhile King used to stay. Their ancestors have moved out and it is now a heritage property. It is large villa modeled on European Architecture , and a very attractive place to stay for American, British and European families. the villa has all modern Lux facilities. A visit to temples and Brassware market is a must.
