The warm hospitality at the Heritage bungalow number 9 at Takdah was exemplary. The house is a 1912 British era heritage house. It is in a beautiful location close to the forest. The rooms are comfortable. The food is awesome. The family that runs the place is wonderful and super friendly. The young owner Mr. Lama is dynamic and is always ready to help. Last but not the least, the grandpa of the house, who is full of energy, is 101 year old. He is so positive and radiates happiness! I would love to go back to this place again.

Everything was excellent. It's a new luxurious hotel. The staff were friendly and kind, the room was luxurious with a wonderful smart TV. The food was great value. It was nice to have breakfast on my balcony.

    It is more calm and quite compared to Darjeeling. To see more birds and may be some animals - Takdah is good. The Pine trees in the nearby park leading to a pond/ natural lake is a good outing for 3 to 5 hours.
