The WiFi was as good as the best anywhere in India - absolutely brilliant and so useful for me. The food was very good and the location is superb barely 400 metres from the Ticket Office to the Bird Sanctuary. The staff help to contact guides and transport to get to hides and other areas for Birding and generally Basil will help with anything you need. Absolutely brilliant place to stay for Birders.

Everything was just perfect. The staff were so incredibly helpful and couldn't do enough to help. The views were spectacular. The surrounding areas were a dream to explore on foot or by bicycle (free to use) and the kayaking was excellent. We loved the bird sanctuary and the whole area is so abundant in wildlife and nature. It was just fantastic and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again (I hope we do) and to recommend.

Excellent stay! We were the only guests due to the bad climate. The entire house was ours providing privacy and a cozy, big room. The river view was amazing, though the bad weather limited outdoor enjoyment. The homely food from the ladies' kitchen was yummy and added to the comfort. A kettle with coffee/tea sachets was a nice touch, making our stay more pleasant. Despite the rain, it seemed like the place had a lot to offer! We will be back after the rains to enjoy the river.

I had taken rejuvenation treatment here.... Professional therapists..... Excellent massage and rejuvenation programs..... The place and Atmosphere is so clean and well kept that i never felt like I am in a ayurveda hospital..... The whole stay experience feel like close to nature 🌿🍃and nature friendly activities..... A day with 🐘🐘Elephants programs also amazing..... The main thing is they are not use Elephants for business..... The department take caring them very well.... About yoga session are basic and near by trees🌲🌳🌴..... The duty doctors and staffs gave utmost care for me, they visited so many times in a day to make sure I was comfortable and to asses my health condition..... There is a well equipped treatment place name Vaidyasala..... Good massages..... There own medicine.... About yoga sala center where classes takes place regularly which is good along with the treatment...... My overall experience was so good and in future this place will be my first choice.....     The forest trail at the bird sanctuary is indeed exciting...

    The forest trail at the bird sanctuary is indeed exciting and has other attractions too like reptiles and butterfly gardens. During October the rain is less yet the forest looks lush green. The Amritara resort where we stayed has full river view and Kayaking in open river is an excellent experience. Dam site and the gardens are well maintained. There is a Hanging bridge across the river upstream at kuttampuzha, a nice experience.
