    Yelagiri is a nice hill station for week end outing.

    Yelagiri is a nice hill station for week end outing. only thing is about climbing the hill with some hair pin bends, we can also enjoy nice view of the city below the hill and also once we reach the top, the whole city is formed on top of the hill. Key places to visit : 1. Natural Park - musical fountain show in the evening 2. Boat house - boating 3. Fundera - birds feeding and Per animal park 4. Valley view point

    Awesome location. Nice climate.

    Awesome location. Nice climate. A good location for someone who loves trekking. There are enough and more activities there to spend time. If you love to explore a place by walk this is a good place to visit. Roads are well maintained and the drive to the hilltop is mesmerising. It’s a good getaway location from Bangalore as the travel time is hardly 3 to 4 hours.

    Its not too crowded like other hill stations.

    Its not too crowded like other hill stations. Reaching the location take hardly 30 to 45 from from plain. Nature park, Boating, Adventure activities all are available. Best time to visit Nov to Feb

    Good place. Quite a few a activities to do around.

    Good place. Quite a few a activities to do around. Food became a problem. Didn't find a good veg restaurant with quality food. Very average food everywhere. Breakfast closes early by 11 everywhere and lunch starts only by 1 in most places. So there is absolutely no veg food available for almost 2hrs post check out.

    Great and quick get away hill station if you are in Chennai...

    Great and quick get away hill station if you are in Chennai or bangalore. Some good activites have come up in the recent times - like fundura, adventure sports etc. We stayed at Natures Trail Yelagiri, which in itself had trekking, great swimming pool, excellent food and affordable luxury rooms for families.

    Yelagiri is a small town, hence it is very easy to go-around...

    Yelagiri is a small town, hence it is very easy to go-around if you have bike or car. One of my favorite place here is the Boat House in the week days, looks calm and peaceful. Also, try trekking in mangalam, it will give you a great experience. Regarding hotels, i ate at

    Location is very near to punganoor lake and nature park. All places to visit are easy accessible. Good car parking. Hotel below our room is providing good food. Coffee, tea, juice, biscuits available at the hotel entrance itself. No door mat in the bathroom. No kettle. Nog providing any water bottle, soap.. Bathroom is very neat but bathroom door back side looks dirty. Its just to be cleaned. Otherwise its fine. Hot water is available any time. No lift.

    A very comfortable space to stay in yelagiri. In the cool climate of yelagiri, the caretakers serve fresh hot food which warms the soul. The caretakers give atmost attention to the customers. The room we stayed in had two well ventilated balconies with great views and spacious for a family of four. The room had two beds, two bathrooms, a TV and cane sofas. The stay felt so relaxed.

    We visit Zeenat Taj 2nd time in last couple of years.. since we travel as family this hotel is very convenient.I don't say it's very good wen it come to stay, the stay in room is quite decent. But outside the room we can walk around the gardens. Lots of green areas, sitout places, play area for kids youths too. Brakefast was excellent.
