Akyureri is a short drive away.
Akyureri is a short drive away. A small town which is described as Iceland's second capital. Not a lot to do in the area. We had planned to go whale watching in Husavik, but this was cancelled due to the weather. We did go to Forest Lagoon, which I liked. Very relaxing. Cheaper than Blue Lagoon, which was not for me at all. It was too commercialised, big and crowded. The changing rooms were tiny so trying to dress was a big challenge. Forest Lagoon had far better facilities and the changing areas were substantially bigger. Godafoss waterfall also nearby and, if like me, you love a waterfall, it is a fabulous stop wit a cafe and toilet facilities.Guest review byJaneUnited Kingdom - 10.0
