Our one-night stop turned into two due to a heavy storm.
Our one-night stop turned into two due to a heavy storm. The hotel handled the situation very amenably. Good food in the hotel and also at the café and village shop in Breiddalsvik itself, which is about 5 km away. Fantastic scenery all round. Motor museum and brewery in the village with the opportunity to go for horse rides directly from the hotel.

Excellent Lodging - Beautiful views. I left an iPad at the property and they were able to have it sent and delivered to my hotel in Reykjavik. Peaceful setting.

Very friendly receptionist. Good breakfast. Room was a good size as was bathroom. Interestingly a large hotel but some distance away from town.
