The service was very good. The reception and dining staff were amazing. Super friendly. Dinner had good options and was delicious. Breakfast is fairly standard inclusive continental. Adventure Hotel Hof is a comfortable, clean, modest hotel. Staff and friendly and helpful, and the meals are good. Adventure Hotel Hof is well suited for the budget conscious traveller. The place is an excellent spot for Northern Lights hunting and experienced. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. The wifi is seamless and parking is abundant. Hof seemed to be a small city, perfectly located if you are renting a car to see the area, we came from Vik, and we drove all over the Jökulsárlón and returned on the evening to the hotel. as every village in Iceland, you need to pay attention to the exit, but google map was able to find it and we didn't have any problems. We booked the 2 double room, assuming we needed to share the bathroom, little did we know that the two rooms are part of a cottage and it was like a big 2 bedroom house rather than 2 double room. Breakfast was amazing, and I suppose in aurora season, you can look up and see the northern like, but even if there is no season, waking up to the nature was mind blowing. it was perfect for us, 4 friends who did the ring road in 9 days!Guest review byLauraUnited Kingdom

Tea and coffee making facilities in the room was nice but no milk, only creamer in a packet (does seem to be the standard in Iceland). Beautiful location, with lovely view from our window to the mountains. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast had a good variety of options. I think you have to understand you're booking a Guesthouse not a hotel. The hostess was lovely and welcoming, the rooms were very clean, the bathroom was newly renovated and clean.
