Saemi the host is a lovely man who welcomes his guests with fresh cooked food and makes you feel at home. It's a great place to include as part of your time in iceland. Husafell is an area surrounded by mountains, springs and waterfalls. We didn't have much time to explore as we only spent one night here. You can't miss all the thermal springs around here and Fossa, the streams are steaming with heat. Saemi's waffle stacks and breakfast spread was excellent. We had more than enough and had lovely chats around the large dining table. We had a room with private bathroom which was a good size, comfortable and had a nice hot shower. I would certainly recommend trying to spend at least a night here for a memorable experience.

Fosshotel Reykholt is only a few minutes’ drive from the hot springs of Deildartunguhver and the Hraunfossar and Barnafoss waterfalls. It offers free parking and WiFi.

A wonderful place to stay and a brilliantly executed conversion. This was our most memorable accommodation in Iceland. The top floor living room / kitchen has amazing 360 degree views. Warm and clean, with comfortable beds. There are a lot of stairs to go up and down but it is well worth the effort.

Grímsstaðir holiday home - Family friendly is a recently renovated villa in Reykholt, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities.
