Everything about the stay was perfect! The living room had floor to ceiling windows plus a glass door so none of the spectacular view was obstructed. The kitchen was very well-stocked. The surrounding area and town was nice and quiet.

It takes a while to get here, but it's a lovely house in a great location. We were lucky enough to have the whole house to ourselves. The house is clean and modernized, and the kitchen and bathroom are great. Really nice stay.

An absolutely beautiful, private cottage with spectacular views of the sea. The kitchenette was great for making lunch to take on the road. A 2 minute drive to the centre of town. The host lives on the property so is available if you run into any problems or have any questions. Thanks so much for restaurant recommendation.

Hvitserkur ocean rock was a waste of time.

Hvitserkur ocean rock was a waste of time. The road to get there is bumpy and gravel. The viewing platform does not get you the close up picture you see online. The get the close up you have to climb down a cliff that is posted with danger signs (not meant for young children), and the tide has to be all the way out. Kolugljufur canyon is pretty. We would have enjoyed hiking the trails in that area but didn't have time.

Good place to stay away from main road and city for calm and cozy atmosphere. This place is surrounded by lush green tress and guest house is a perfect place to stay. Tipin the dog at Guest house is perfect to play with kids and a dog is playing with kids, he is the attraction of all the stay at this place.

All good except having to chase up room code at our accommodation. What ever happened to front desk? As a former hotel operator this is just so cheap. Very sad that this is the way tourism has progressed.

Small town but it has everything you need.

Small town but it has everything you need. The harbour is nice and it was visited by seals, tonnes of birds and a whale during our visit. The restaurant is also good and has a supermarket. Seems like a good place to catch the northern lights.

Staying Eyri Seaside was awesome however, we were there on a Saturday night and there was only one place to eat and it didn’t open until 6:00 pm. It was good but, nothing else in town was open. The grocery store, the gas station, the liquor store were all closed. We found that kind of frustrating being that we had hoped to pick up a few items from the grocery store.

This was a good budget stay for us on our ring road tour. The breakfast was amazing and the dinner menu was nice after a long day of driving. Pay attention to the check in time- we arrived early and it looked abandoned but we got checked in and had a nice stay

What a lovely guesthouse. Check-in was super easy and the facilities were top notch. The main kitchen and dining areas were clearly very modern and spacious with tonnes of stations to cook from. The bedroom was very comfortable and had a private bathroom. The decor was a little dated but who cares. The value for money was super. Great location if you driving from Alureyri to Reykjavik.

Decent stay on route around Iceland circuit. Clean rooms with helpful staff and free tea/coffee available as well as ability to use kitchen for to make your own food. There is a good local restaurant and store (9-6) by the harbour.
