We stayed about 20 min away in a private chalet.
We stayed about 20 min away in a private chalet. But there is a hotel there, location is good if you want to explore the western section of Iceland. We had dinner one night at the hotel and it was very good. The staff was very helpful and friendly.Guest review byCarolUnited States - 10.0
We very much enjoyed visiting Hraunfossar and Barnafoss.
We very much enjoyed visiting Hraunfossar and Barnafoss. We loved Krauma and seeing the Deildartunguhver Hot Springs. We ate at Hotel Á and the Rock 'n' Troll restaurant--also one I would recommend.Guest review byMills

Great common space with lots of atmosphere and spaces to sit, play games, have coffee or a glass of wine. Delicious meals served for dinner and breakfast buffet and coffee were perfect.
