Excellent option for 4 people to stay in one room. Extremely clean and well appointed. Our room have an attached courtyard to sit out in which would have been super cute if the weather and time had allowed. Showers were a great size and clean. Heated towel rack, radiators and hair dryer. Small mini fridge was handy. Restaurant food was ok and the buffet breakfast was plentiful. Best complimentary buffet we came across. Staff were friendly and accommodating and communication was excellent. I had messaged through booking site to reserve for dinner and the response was within minutes! Beds were comfortable and we had a great quiet sleep.

This is a truly unique way to experience the beauty of Iceland and specifically the Fjallsarlon lagoon. Our guide took us on a private tour of the lagoon on our way to the Aurora Hut. We celebrated our wedding anniversary with champagne and a spectacular view.

The studio apartment was modern and clean. The wood accents and options for dim or bright lighting made the space feel comfortable. All cooking necessities were provided as well as linens. The hosts kindly prepared a book containing information about the home and the surrounding areas. The home is secluded and away from city lights. We were thrilled to see the northern lights from the property.

The amazing location of Hotel Skaftafell provides guests with stunning views of Iceland's highest mountain, Hvannadalshnjukur and the largest glacier in Europe, Vatnajökull.

Wonderful place! The restaurant, while a bit expensive, served us wonderful food, perfect after a day of exploring. On top of that, 15 min walk behind the hotel allows you to see two glaciers and wonderful views. The best part was definitely chatting with Pedro, an exceptional receptionist and a great guy!
