The food, the location, the comfy beds and clean sheets - all of it was lovely, especially after 4 days of hiking. The staff were wonderful - helpful, kind, and informative. We slept so well and ate well each morning/eve. The woman at reception recommended a nice hike around the area. The showers were great!

Fabulous location short walk to Skogafoss! Really cozy hotel. Nice touch was that the room came with robes for the hot tub/sauna.

I am so very happy with our stay at ChickenCoop. The position is amazing, like right out of an National Geographic Picture. It was so peaceful and relaxing, only thing I could hear was the little stream outside our house! House itself was beautifully arranged inside, very comfortable and clean. Bathroom was very spacious! I was very pleased to find coffe, oil, tea and other things useful for cooking, as I completely forgot to buy oil 🙄 . Communication with owner was flawless! Directions for check in were very clear. If you are looking for a place were to stay while driving on the ring road, look no further, this place is perfect! ❤ Can't wait to come back soon!

Great scenery all around, and it was close to some of the must-see destinations in southern Iceland without being too far from the Capital. Great place to stay for the price, and everything was clean.

The scenery outside is magnificent! Best place I’ve been so far! You can see northern lights right outside the place. Every morning there are 2 dogs named Pablo and Beychel will show up at your door to play with you which were so cute! They are really well trained too!

I would recommend booking this place. The facilities are clean, the bed is comfortable, and breakfast was good. Would stay here again.

Everything was clean and nice. Lots of equipments and possibility to cook. Dishwasher available so we don’t need to do the dishes! Really close to Skógafoss (600m) so perfect to see the water fall! Calm place!
