I would like to address several reviewers comments in general about the size of the bathrooms and showers. The bathrooms have been updated. the bathrooms are on the smaller side but so are most of the bathrooms in all the hotels I have stayed at in Iceland. We travel extensively and notice differences in all of the countries we have been to that are different from our own places and each place that you go. I think it is ok to mention this so other people are aware but to complain so much about it is not necessary. I would also like to mention how wonderful their water is! It can go from freezing cold to sauna hot in a matter of seconds and it is the only country that I prefer to dink from the tap! I hope this helps :)

No value for money in this hotel.

No value for money in this hotel. Understaffed, no place at breakfast, no ventilation in room, small Window in lange room, tiny bathroom with very small sink and very small shower. Expensive breakfast with poor quality. Weird place in the midlle of nowhere. Worst place of our 10day stay in Iceland. Hotel only goes for making money on the customer. No soul.

Nice hotel a bit inland of the west coast.

Nice hotel a bit inland of the west coast. One part seems newly renovated (good quality, comfortable), the part with the lobby and restaurant seems entirely new. Has a couple of nice spots to sit outside the rooms. The restaurant has a nice view. Breakfast was very good, nice dinner also. Good ideal starting point for day trip to Snaefells and nice evening in Borganes. Thingvellir is not so far either. Ah, and the TV had Netflix, which is a nice bonus when you are travelling with youngsters...
