Acquapendente is a gorgeous place to visit.
Acquapendente is a gorgeous place to visit. I actually willl be living there as we bought a place...so I am partial, I suppose, but truly it is a fascinating area...the whole area around Acquapendente is extraordinary...the Lake Bolsena...is absolutely beautiful....if you take the drive to Orvieto ( only 25-30 minutes) you will wind up the cliffs above the lake aas you drive and looking down at the lake and the small communities set into the shores of Lake Bolsena...is MAGICAL! Loved the house, located in the town center with shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. You can see that a lot of attention has been put into quality, comfort and details in the property. The host was very responsive and went above and beyond to make my stay wonderful and allowed a late check out at no extra cost.
