This hotel well exceeded our expectations. It was immaculately clean. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and fully equipped. Air conditioning worked perfectly. Decor was modern and well presented. The rooms were very spacious . The breakfast offered was just amazing, an abundance of fresh italian pastries which filled the air with a magnificent aroma, fruits, juices, yoghurt or if you prefer cold meats and cheese. Giuseppe at reception greeted us with a very happy disposition and was always ready to help with any enquiries or tips on sight seeing. We had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend this hotel. We will certainly be back ....

The hotel is directly across the street from the beach. We had a sea view room with terrace. Listening to the sounds of the waves was great. We had dinner both nights in the restaurant - which was very good.

Breakfast was very good, plentiful and a healthy variety of fruit. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Location was central, very close to the train station and beach, and being able to use the hotels bicycles was a great. Fun to ride the beach boardwalk and cruise around Amantea. Would definitely stay again.

In February, when most of the hotels are closed, this one was the best hotel I stayed in during my winter holidays in Calabria. The room is spacious, comfortable and clean. In the bathroom you will find a lot of one-use amenities like toothbrush, razor with a shaving cream and nail file. In the bed there is also a duvet, not only a blanket, what was very useful in the winter nights. The breakfast is OK, they serve eggs and ham, fruit, not only Italian sweet breakfast. The hotel is located just across the road from the beach but you have to drive a car to get to the town or restaurants. It's a very good quality hotel if you compare to other hotels in the area - it's Calabria, don't expect a standard you know from Greece or Turkey. You should be aware that you can hear the noise from the road and from the train in the night but it's a standard in this region. If you are looking for a quiet place I recommend to stay further from the seaside, in the mountain village from which you can also have a beautiful sea view.

The service was fantastic and they were more than happy to help with everything. The location was beautiful and offered us a nice relaxing break in the middle of a hectic holiday. So we didn’t have to leave, we ate there at breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food was delicious (especially the red wine). If the opportunity arises, we would definitely stay again. Thank you so much for an amazing stay.

Amazing people who own this hotel. We loved our stay here and cannot wait to come back. The rooms were so spacious, clean and cute. Nice views of the town and incredible balcony. Yummy breakfast and cappuccinos every morning too!

    Amantea is a wonderful beach town.

    Amantea is a wonderful beach town. It was very relaxed, and there are lots of public beaches between the Lidos. It was not mobbed with tourists. There were none of the identical touristy shops selling identical cheap souvenirs. Amantea is about enjoying the town and the beach. I will certainly return!

    Hotel description doesn’t match reality.

    Hotel description doesn’t match reality. It’s old and worn and definitely not soundproof. There’s no reception for phone and WiFi doesn’t work. There was really strong bleach smell in the room and it didn’t get better. If you want to go to the pool you have to buy a cap and wear in the pool. Restaurant was old looking but with nice interior and really nice waiter, food was great and service brilliant. Also have to mention that one of the receptionist, only English speaking men was really helpful and kind🙂 Please be aware that the price list in the room may be different from actual charge. We had one Coca Cola from fridge with cost of 2.50€ but on the bill it was 3€

    This is a lovely place to stay!

    This is a lovely place to stay! It is reached by a challenging yet rewarding walk up an historic alley. The rooms are beautifully appointed & clean. The host was very helpful & pleasant. Snacks are provided- park your car & stay here!

    Great hotel for the price, with large modern rooms, a wonderful new bed, and good location near the train station and beach. Easy walks to downtown and the Storico Centro. The owner, Antonio, is a gentleman who is generous with his advice and time. He spent a whole afternoon with me, searching for my Italian family. Highly recommended!

    The beach was over the road from the hotel so after breakfast, which was continental, I walked across and had many walks along the beach as there was nothing else within walking range to do. The breakfast was fresh every morning and varied

    The hotel was easy to find as we were cycling down the highway. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was ample. The beach is close by and the town centre a short walk away was beautiful.
