Super cool, so nice not to need air con when it’s quite hot outside. The summer evening temperatures can be like 18 degrees so the space is perfect for keeping cool in the evening

The room is in an old well-preserved building, right in the old part of the town, with a great view. It's super clean and spacious, with traditional Tuscan ceiling. The host met us on arrival and booked us a table at a local restaurant, a few steps away, which turned out to be lovely too, with great food and wine. He also provided us with tea and a kettle. We were sorry to leave this lovely place!

Villa Elvira was a great central point to start our trips through Tuscany. It is very clean, quiet and cozy, and Mrs. Elvira was very helpful and assertive throughout the journey - thank you. The living room and master bedroom are spacious and tastefully furnished. Contrary to other comments I've seen here, I found the beds and pillows to be very comfortable. It's worth mentioning that public parking is just a few steps away, it's safe and convenient.

The stand out feature were the staff - every single one was friendly, helpful and always happy with a “can do” attitude. The best team that we have been with over many years of travel worldwide. The restaurant was good and everything - all dietary requirements - was, with no exception, too much trouble. Three outside pools and plenty of places for groups to sit out and also for a more quiet relax away from others. Some manageable walks out of the hotel which is set in beautiful Tuscan countryside. Our suite was excellent and the whole property was unique: a village unlike any we have encountered before. It is a Retreat more than Resort and a car is necessary to travel more widely or a very easily organised and reliable taxi through the hotel. Siena is within easy striking distance by car or taxi.

Beautiful Tuscan style villa covered with lots of greenery. Quiet and peaceful. Food was excellent. Staff was friendly and always ready to help. You see that people just love what they do and they are passionate about it. You really feel like a guest, not like a customer.

    Loved the location in the tiny 12th century town of Ambra. The unit is small but newly renovated, modern and clean inside. It is in very close proximity to the main square where there is a cafe, laundry, fruit store, butcher and more! There is a market in the piazza every Tuesday and a summer festival party every Tuesday night in July. So much fun to party with the locals! Angela and Stefano are amazing hosts and we even got to meet them to say goodbye at the festival the night before we left.

    Ambra is a very beautiful small town and the locals are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The apartment is absolutely stunning, decorated to a very high standard, and the bed was very very comfortable. The hosts Angela and Stefano were just amazing! They were so welcoming and kind to us. I cannot recommend this property enough, we had such a great few days staying here.

    Lovely little villa near the heart of Ambra 's quaint historic town. Loved the sound of church bells. We arrived after a train trip from Florence to be greeted by the host with cold refreshments and a platter of watermelon which was so appreciated.

    We liked the location, close to Siena and Arezzo, great stay for two night. We visited Ambra for the festival which was a nice experience. Swimming pool was great, loved the shower by the pool. Also we took the breakfast and it was very good.

    Location was excellent, in the small town of Ambra, breakfast was included and good. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Was there for a wedding and Needed an Iron and brought me one right away.
