The castle grounds and facility were beautiful, as was the view. The rooms were huge and castle decor incorporated original antiques which added to the authenticity of the castle experience. The staff were genuinely friendly as well as incredibly helpful and attentive. The restaurant was excellent. All in all a wonderful experience and I will definitely go back for subsequent visits.

This place is a standout. From the view over the valley, the infinity pool and lovely garden, to the attentive and hospitable staff, we really enjoyed our stay. As well as a delightful breakfast, a four course dinner is offered in the evening and it was outstanding. Each night it changes and very reasonably priced.

We had a reservation for seven days. From the minute we step in we felt like very welcome. All the personnel was very friendly, nice, helpful. Everybody said hello, had a conversation, had a time to chat. Service level of this hotel exceeded every five start hotel service that I have been to. Location was quiet and nice with vinery fields view. City of Bolzano was 30 minutes away by bus. Excellent hiking and biking routes and two nice little villages near the hotel.

    Eppan is a great smaller area outside of Bozen. We enjoyed being close to both the city and nature. There was a local market on Tuesday, and the bakeries and restaurants in town were all delicious and staffed with friendly employees. A cool little spot for a trip!

    We had such a wonderful stay at Kreuzstein B&B. The owner personally welcomed us, even though it was a Sunday, which made us feel immediately at home. The place is warm, comfortable, and full of authentic charm. It’s in a peaceful, quiet location, yet still conveniently close to Bolzano. Breakfast was a real highlight – fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented each morning. We would happily stay here again!

    Great breakfast buffet, fantastic dinner set menu for €35! Lovely staff. Beautiful mountain view from my balcony. Much quieter and cheaper location compared to Bolzano. Bus stop is 15min walk (direct to Bolzano, also to Lago di Caldaro). Online option to opt out of daily cleaning with a €5 deduction per day from your final bill. This hotel has implemented many environmentally friendly and covid safe options.

    The hotel was much less expensive than other accommodation in the region. The staff were really friendly and there was parking nearby. The hotel is located next to a loud, narrow, busy street, so it is loud. If you're looking for a cheap hotel to stay the night, it's fine. If you're looking for a lovely hotel to stay on holiday, look elsewhere.

    Location is really convenient. Owner is super nice. There are loads of opportunities to explore around. Vineyards, apple fields, mountain, lakes, good cycling routes. If you are city lover, then you can go to Bolzano, 15 to 30min drive, depending on time and traffic.
