The hotel is in a great location with stunning views of the hills and a beautiful walk following the 1000yr old wall and through the city gates to the town centre of Sienna. Having breakfast in the courtyard made it feel like you’d fallen into a painting or an old romance movie. The rooms were beautiful - we were extremely lucky and got an upgrade into the villa. Going from a small hotel room in Florence with no view to a villa with a lounge room over looking the hills of Tuscany made our stay one of the highlights of our cross country adventure enabling us to take a breath, relax and making you feel like you’d fallen into a painting.

The hotel is for sure underrated as it’s a real gem. It’s in a great location, the inner yard and the other facilities are beautiful, the room was sparkling clean with wonderful views out the window (no. 28) and the staff was extremely helpful and nice.

I really liked this atmospheric hotel. The view from the terrace to the hills is beautiful, the air is fresh. Special thanks for the fact that breakfast was organized, although there was no such option when booking. Quiet peaceful place. The room was clean. The guests were calm, so I managed to get enough sleep, although the audibility in the room was good). The city center is within walking distance. The receptionists were very nice and responsive. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. If I'm in Siena again, I'll definitely stay here.

The hotel was perfected located for the nearby golf. The breakfast was good, with plenty of options and choices. The evening meal was exceptional. It is clearly an attraction for the local community and there were lots of non-hotel visitors in the hotel. Great food! Our room was on a corner and we had beautiful views. Also, plenty of car parking. I would highly recommend.
