We really enjoyed our stay at Nordelaia. The location is fantastic, the hotel cozy & modern and the staff was super friendly. We were helped perfectly by Ilenia. She knows a lot of good places in the area and during our stay took care of everything. The pool, the sauna, the massages and of course the perfect restaurant made sure we were completely relaxed at the end of our stay. Special thanks also to David for the great wine pairings and to Charles for giving us the best white-truffle experience ever ;-).

The most amazing place. Gorgeous villa from 17th century exceptionally renovated. The property is like from a movie, surrounded by countryside. The room was very big and beautiful and such a treat that they serve you breakfast in the room. The pool is great as well as the spa area. The gem of the place is the manager who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We are sure we are going to be back.

I stayed at Rita’s place during a road trip on my motorbike. I arrived quite late, but Rita kindly waited for me and welcomed me warmly. She was very communicative, showed me around the house, and explained all the available facilities. She immediately understood that my arrival was last-minute due to my spontaneous journey, and even went the extra mile by arranging dinner for me at a nearby restaurant (just a 5-minute walk away). Her positive attitude truly made me feel at home. I was able to park my motorbike securely in her gated yard, which gave me great peace of mind. The house itself is stunning — absolutely full of charm and character. It’s so beautifully decorated it almost feels like you’re staying in a museum! I honestly couldn’t have asked for more. I felt like part of the family, and Rita took care of everything. If I ever find myself passing through this region again, I won’t hesitate to come back. Thank you, Rita, for everything!

This is one of those moments when you don't know if you should give a good rating or not. If (for selfish reasons) you don't, it's not fair to hosts' hard work. If you do, people will learn about this hidden gem and it will be more and more difficult to get a place there. * The property is located in a vineyard and you can actually see the plants, the tools, barrels, etc. For a city person this is definitely interesting and confirmed the authenticity of the place; * Next house is few hundred meters away so there is nothing but quietness and space around you; * Free parking; * Pool - we didn't use it (November) but I bet it's quite tempting during the summer; * The rooms are clean. Everything is well organized and nothing ruins your feeling of grandma's-room-coziness. The way they hid the kitchenette is awesome! * Breakfast is not rich, but I think it's enough. Coffee is really good; * Dinner was also great. Try the risotto or the cheese. They are on our "to return" list.

Oh my word, what a little gem this place is. We originally booked as it was a convenient location en route from Italy to Switzerland, but were really impressed with Ovada and its lovely historic centre. Best of all, however, was staying at La Corte. We received the warmest welcome from Giancarla, who went out of her way to make us feel at home. She is such a star. The room was perfect ...a little quirky and different, and super comfortable and clean, which we loved. Secure off-street parking was a bonus, and the breakfast was superb. We hope to return next year just to stay here again. Highly, highly recommended
