It is also excellent if your flying to Ciampino airport it’s literally about 9 minutes on the bus (Airport to the town). The people are friendly and everything is close at hand - nice cafeterias and restaurants, shops and a train station from which you can take a train straight to Roma Termini and it's only 15 minutes ride. Ciampino is a small town.
Ciampino is a small town. We couldn't find any area for sightseeing but our aim was Roma and the most important fact that the traffic (the train) was very good and fast. The time was max. 15 minutes from Ciampino to Roma Termini (Roma center). The airport is close to Ciampino as well (max. 10 minutes) by Airlink bus.
