Range of shops within walking distance, with local Pizzeria serving 'by the kilo !' - lo Zodiaco Di Mauro Luciano. Parking out front - luck of the draw, but hardware shop opposite useful.

Even though the hotel is older and some of the rooms need upgrades, the hotel itself is great! Located perfectly to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The best part is the staff! So welcoming, helpful and friendly! I would absolutely recommend this hotel!

    Nice small Italian town downtown close to the train station we were so busy never even had a chance to visit the fort Plenty of places that made house deliveries and the Hotel Bogo is a few meters away with lots of dinner choices.

    There is no easy walking access to the cruise port or terminals, you will have to book a taxi OR take a bus from the train station to the port (40e). It is confusing and not well detailed by the cruise companies - do your research. Taxi from the train station to an apartment is equally a hassle (30e minimum).

    Great location for a pre cruise stay.

    Great location for a pre cruise stay. You have to be in shape for the stairs! The setup to get in was horrendous. Room was big, bed comfortable (queen), bathroom good. It's a 4 bedroom apartment with a communal kitchen/ eating area.

    Taxi service: Worst I've ever seen or had to use! Reserved taxi for transportation from facility to cruise port on departure day - DID NO SHOW UP! Facility over 3/4 mile from any street used by taxis! Neighbors were able to contact taxi for us - prevented a disaster for us! No, I doubt I'd recommend this property/location to anyone - period! Booking.com needs to improve it's preview of properties and lot better!

    We loved the history, the restaurants, the views, the convenience to the terminal. The weather was fabulous! It was easy to walk everywhere. We even walked from the Norwegian Epic terminal to the train station on our return.

    Location was good, but there is no air conditioning, for such a hot place that is very poor as a fan is not enough to get a good night sleep, the bed sheets were very thin and not to a standard of most B &Bs, most of the miss match dishes and cups, glasses had to be cleaned first, would not recommend this place.

    Hospitality, location and home from home comforts - all provided by Loris and Ambra made our stay in Civitavecchia so wonderful. The friendly charm and exceptional guest satisfaction from Loris which enabled us to watch a Liverpool v Arsenal football match gives the Casa Sul Mare 6 stars!! Thank you to Loris and Ambra for all their wonderful attention to detail and nothing was too much trouble. You certainly do not get such personal service from a bigger hotel. It was like staying with friends.

    The owners were very kind and friendly, and our room/common area was very clean and comfortable. We had trouble finding the hotel and opening our room key, but the owners came out to find us when we reached the nearby area, and helped us out with the room key without any hesitation. The complimentary breakfast with fresh fruits, yogurt, bread, and coffee was nice, as we didn’t have to worry about breakfast. We would like to stay here again, when we visit Civitavecchia!

    Quaint, modern, clean and homely very friendly staff also Centrally located . From the moment I booked I was in contact with Anna asking questions on how to get to the Hotel from Rome Fiumicino Airport plus transfers to the ship. Arrival refreshment was an Aperol Spritz with fresh Orange, very nice. Breakfast was also lovely They also do have a lift so no walking up stairs . I would definitely stay again
