Nice quaint small town located in the Dolomites. Strongly suggest avoiding it between July and early September. Far too many people to really enjoy it. Our prior visit was in mid-October 2023 and it was much better as tourist and holiday season was over. The hotel facilities are awesome.
The hotel facilities are awesome. The staffs take care us very well, especially the concierge staff who help us deal with the rental company. We have a flat tire on our rental car and the hotel staff help us a lot to contact the car rental company and hire taxi to pick up the new car. it's a mess w/ building works clogging the small town that is trying to prep for the winter olympics. If you are driving through, make sure you're through very early before the gridlock starts. Cortina is a good central location to use as a base for...
Cortina is a good central location to use as a base for attractions in the region. It is known as quite an exclusive resort but we didn't find food and restaurant prices any higher that other Dolomite resorts. It is busy with lots of traffic which flows through the centre of the town. This place was amazing!
This place was amazing! Great location to begin any hikes at the Rifugio Auronzo. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very cleanly & the facilities were good. Parking access was plentiful and very easy. We are breakfast & dinner there with plenty of options and everything very well made. We had a smaller room facing onto the street which meant we had a bit of noise but nothing major. The room was clean, the main part was a little dated but the bathroom had recently been updated and had a very good shower! Bed was also comfortable.
