Casa Olea is an amazing option if you are visiting Lake Como - 10 min by car from Menaggio, it was the perfect base to visit the area without staying inside the confusion of the small famous villages. The hotel itself is spetacular, the refurbishment was done very tastefully and the whole hotel is beautiful. The room was very comfortable and had an amazing view to the lake. The shower was for sure one of the best showers I have ever used in my life, and the amenities by Comfort Zone provided a nice touch. The breakfast was excellent and everyone working there was very nice and welcoming. If you are visiting this area, book this place!

really good sized room with brilliant shower. breakfast first class with plenty of choice. however the main asset this property has are its exceptional staff who are all very helpful from the reception desk to those working in the breakfast room.

Great location on the shore of the lake. Easy to get to from the train station. Felt like we were on a cruise as our room opened to a balcony on the water. Very helpful staff. Lovely restaurant on site with range of regional dishes and picturesque views. One of the nicest places we have stayed in Italy.

    There is a bus service to Menagio, for the ferry to Bellagio...

    There is a bus service to Menagio, for the ferry to Bellagio, just up the hill which at times can be unreliable and you need to buy tickets from the bar near the bus stop before your journey. If you rent a car, the journey into the mountains is worth the 8 hairpin bends. The views are absolutely stunning.

    good pizza in a restaurant located together with a hotel.

    good pizza in a restaurant located together with a hotel. another good restaurant near marina, yet that one is rather expensive one. beach is easily accessible and there are paths for runners as well close to major attractions of Lake Como, worth considering travelling by bus. (Italians can be angry drivers if you go according to the speed limits)

    Very clean and comfortable. The room was great, it, had a balcony with a view of the lake and the bathroom was clean and more spacious then I have seen in any hotel so far. The owner (Angel) does his name justice left fresh fruit and some drinks in the fridge to enjoy. And it is only six minutes walking from the lake side. So it is far enough no not hear the traffic and close enough to enjoy the lake. This room is definitely in my top five of all the places I have visited.

    A very nice flat very close to the "Piazza Roma" in Cremia. There are a few public parking lots nearby if you're lucky, if not you can use a reserved one ~400m by foot in the via della Laga. You can see the como lake from the windows and the terrace. The flat has 2 bedrooms, a large kitchen/living room and a large bathroom, a coffee machine, lots of kitchen tools and a washing machine are also present. The AC in every room also heats the place if required.

    Lovely authentic Villa full of character and quirky. Set in a peaceful village overlooking the lake with gardens and parking space. It could be seen as a little rough around the edges especially where the washing machine was located in the unused downstairs apartment downstairs but we completely loved it and had a wonderful stay. Didn’t want to leave! Cremia had some lovely restaurants and felt very untourusty.

    Beautiful hotel, staff was always very helpful and polite. We enjoyed our room, as it was spacious and had a really nice bathroom, the bed was also extremely comfy. Breakfast was great, we loved the fact that you could choose from a menu a day before and get served exactly what you had picked - this involved freshly squeezed juice, prosecco, and lots of healthy food options.

    Everything was amazing! The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home from the first day. They went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. The location was unbeatable with the beach directly in front of the hotel. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful, relaxing and pleasant stay in Lake Como.
