We arrived by train at a beautiful but mostly abandoned train station (unfortunate because it is a beauty!!) Town is on a surfboard-shaped plateau with beautiful bridges that access it by car or train. I did a walk around the whole plateau and was awe-struck by the beautiful old buildings and surrounding valleys. Plenty of coffee shops and cafes/restaurants if you don't want to eat at your hotel. The place is packed with history walking through main street put you back in time. Explore the little side streets and having a hard time to decide where to have lunch or dinner. The weekly street market is something you don't want to miss. In short ; a city not very well known, but you don't want to miss. I could store my bike in the basement, big plus (it's a narrow and steel stair case - that might not work with e-bikes and MTBs, but it's easy for your road or gravel bike).
