Lovely town and the people are very friendly and helpful. Restaurants we ate at had great food and reasonably priced. Not a town mobbed by tourists, get to experience genuine Italian hospitality. Easy to get to the more touristy places like Alberobello and local beaches. We stayed on the outskirts of the Fusano as our main...
We stayed on the outskirts of the Fusano as our main interest was in the surrounding area. Fusano is not a very interesting town. However, we dined one evening at the most superb restaurant. Cannot praise La Locanda D’Martume highly enough. This gem can be found on via Santa Teresa. The menu is as sophisticated as anything we found in Rome and mine host is a welcoming and warm companion throughout the journey. Price is excellent.
