Thanks to the lovely Rafael for a great hospitality. Rafael did everything he could to help us. Went out to meet us when we arrived so we could find the hotel. He was kind, smiling and very helpful. The hotel is located in an excellent location, 5 minutes from the center. Parking is possible on the street in the extension and is free of charge. There is an elevator, and the room and bathroom are spacious, only the insulation is worse. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is a bistro on the ground floor. It is certainly recommended!

What did we like? What didn't we like!!! It was amazing! Great apartment, huge rooms with plenty of room for the kids and their legos. PERFECTLY clean (first thing we usually do on a vacation is clean the apartment. Not this time! It was spotless! We could walk around barefoot right away! At one point the kids slipped under the beds to hide and we feared the worst, but they came back out without a grain of dust on them🤣), wonderful premises, beautiful decoration. There's really nothing to complain about! Definitely sign up for the great breakfast with homemade baked goods on the terrace! We usually do our own breakfast thing, we're not the hotel kind of people but in this place, we got breakfast every day! The area is great, too. 10min to portogruero ("little venice"), supermarket 3min away, beautiful and clean sandy beaches with sand as fine as powder and about 10km of it in both directions (spiaggia brussa, 15min by car) (if you don't want to be around people you can take a nice 1,8km walk through nature to get to different parts where there's fewer people.). The whole area is less touristy than Bibione and more civilized, if you're trying to get away from that crowded cheap mass tourism of Bibione, this is the area for you. The owner of the place is a wonderful lady who speaks perfect English and she will give you great advice on what to see and where to go.

In a word, beyond wonderful. We were welcomed by the host with a smile and positive energy. The house is decorated with great taste. The beds are ultra comfortable. Every inch of the house is extremely clean. It is very easy to reach the city of Venice by car around 45 mins. Having free parking right in front of the house is a great advantage. Apartment is fully equipped, you have everything you need. We had a wonderful stay and totally recommend for those who are planning to visit that part of Italy :)

    Fossalta di Portogruaro is a small town with relatively limited services and things to do, though the local caffe bar is great. But the town is close to many great places, this is how we picked the location. Portugruaro is a lovely Italian town and it is within a 10-minute drive, and there are also other places with inexpensive restaurants. Caorle, Bibione, Brussa (a natural beach), or other sandy beaches are within a 30-minute drive. Going to Venice by train from Portogruaro is also an option.
