Perfect location right in the centre of the old town with parking right outside (for confident drivers only!). It's a beautiful property with lovely views over the rooftops of the old town, comfortable rooms and a big spread for breakfast. We felt very welcome and really enjoyed our stay...

Fabulous location, everything was very comfortable with a wonderful breakfast. We enjoyed sitting by the pool in the early evening and wandering round the farm the following morning. Breakfast was superb, lots of delicious produce made on the farm. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open but we were recommended a local pizza restaurant which was excellent. We would love to return next year and eat in the Barone GR Macri Restaurant. Thank you to everyone who works so hard to make this a very special and beautiful place to stay and Gerace is a very beautiful and interesting hill top town.

    Rurally located, with a beautiful garden. Pool care. Everything equally clean near Gerace, a 10-minute drive to the beach. The room has a well-functioning air conditioner, the bathroom is perfect. You can use the common areas, including a great kitchen with all accessories. Beautifully surrounded with trees, lemons and flowers. Nice welcome, the owners speak good English, which is an exception in Calabria. Definitely recommended if you like quality, peace and nature.

    Beautiful old building in the heart of Gerace. Shared balcony with stunning views (when the fog lifted!), which was rarely used by anyone else. Very large and comfy bed. Antonio and his daughter made us very welcome despite very little common language. Wide range of breakfast options, including gluten- and dairy-free. Reserved space for car just in front of hotel (needed, as streets are medievally narrow).

Breakfast on the balcony in the morning is a special treat with homemade preserves and fine coffee.     Amazing location and beautiful view from our room. This palace used to be a medieval convent that was turned into a hospital and finally became a hotel. The manager Simone was very kind and professional, giving us a lot of tips concerning the city.
