It was a very good stay, the apartment is clean, modern and has everything that you might need. The only issue (can be an advantage if you are looking to have an autenthic Tuscan experience) is the fact that it is completelly isolated from other places, meaning that is really in the heart of Tuscany.

Great setting in a picturesque small village. I especially loved that Ghizzano is small and quiet and far away from the noisy tourists hordes of Firenze, Siena or San Gimignano… you can enjoy the peace, walk in two minutes to the local store and cafe and enjoy a quick and cheap breakfast, feeling like a local. The apartment is nicely furnished, spacious and comfortable. Check in nice and easy.

Amazing place - part downstairs with seperate entrance. Owners live upstairs. We had coffee, tea, full kitchen for our disposal. Despite late arrival we had amazing food left in the kitchen: bread, some coockies, olive oil they produce, home made pomegranate jam, lavender honey, eggs from their chicken. There were also homemade lavender products left to buy - I purchased the candle. The place is very clean with nice vanity products fro Idea Toscana company - very nice, local touch. All info was printed and left for us in our language - we were moved by this. Wish we had stayed there longer than one night. Great place to come for longer relaxing holiday.

    Ghizzano is a very pretty, colourful, quiet little town/...

    Ghizzano is a very pretty, colourful, quiet little town/village, I would recommend staying there for maybe one or two nights if passing through so you can see the local houses, little shop etc. I'm pleased that we went as it was a bit of Tuscan life. Make sure you have your own transport though. Taxi's are hard to come by, no trains and extremely little bus service morning and late afternoon.
