One more important thing, there is free movement around the castle, you can choose where you will drink wine or just talk to your loved ones, there are many places here, on the terrace along the walls on the castle. The house has everything you might need, the host is so kind and caring and really thought of everything: fully equiped kitchen, comfy bed, a washing machine. The view is stunning! Our 2 husky dogs were accepted without extra charges. I would give a 10 if only the road to the house was better...

Good breakfast. Great view. Nice rooms. This is a very unique hotel, which may be very attractive or not so attractive depending on what you are looking for. It's basically a tiny, village/resort with a quite traditional feel in the italian countryside. The road there is a little rugged, and there's no shopping nearby. But if you are trying to experience the more rural side with a very traditional feeling, it's great. Either way, the value for money is so good even if you just want a decent place to stay. It's also in driving distance of nice cities and nature.

Absolutely gorgeous property overlooking the hills to an incredible mountain range that looks almost like the Dolomites. Beautiful gardens, pool is luxurious with sun chairs and perfect green lawn. Room was spacious, tasteful, comfortable. Nice newly renovated clean bathroom with large deluxe shower head. Great location, not far from nice coastal suburbs and the beach, also beautiful drive further up into the mountains to explore rivers and waterfalls. Cinque Terre also easily visited during the day from this location. Nice to come back to quiet sanctuary in the hills after so many tourists. Luca was a lovely accomodating host, gave us good advice on local places to visit, restaurants etc.
