Excellent location and grounds. Beautiful family run hotel. Dario and Paola could not do enough for you. All the staff from the cleaners to the waiters to the gardener have a genuine smile on their face. If I could give 20/10 I would. We enjoyed our time so much we booked extra nights. We are already planning a return visit. The Hotel is spotlessly clean. Many Thanks from Conor and Nicola.

LOVED THIS STAY! The location is perfect. Very close to a beach. The bus stop is VERY close to the hotel. Sant Angelo is close enough to walk to. Luana and her team are so sweet. Sabrina is awesome. They do everything they can to ensure you are having the vacation of a lifetime. Incredible.

I just spent three unforgettable days at Hotel Villa Rita, and I honestly cannot express how warm and kind the people here are. From the first moment, they made me feel like a family member. Rita, her brother Gerard, their father and aunt — all of them welcomed me with so much heart and humility. The villa is in a peaceful, authentic part of Ischia, far from the tourist chaos. It’s the kind of place where you feel at home, where you can truly rest, reconnect, and be cared for. This is the best place on Maronti Beach. The view from our balcony was simply stunning. The freshly prepared breakfast was delightful and delicious. The sea was crystal clear and located just beneath our windows. We visited many restaurants on this beach, but the tastiest food was at our hotel’s restaurant, which we enjoyed under the sound of the waves and the glow of candlelight.

    Ischia is a great island for vacation - there are many sandy beaches, spectacular views, a lot of greenery and of course delicious food. It is not difficult to go around the island by car. The roads are narrow and with many turns, and many people are driving motorbikes which makes driving difficult but you can survive:) People are very friendly and calm. The food is amazing, especially pasta in any form! The island is easy to reach - the are ferries from Naples, about an hour from there. Highly recommend Ischia to visit!

    This is just a wonderful place.

    This is just a wonderful place. We were there in August which should be high season but it wasn't too crowded. You of course have to have some tourism so that restaurants and shopping will thrive and for us this is just the perfect balance. Not too many people "in your way" but still enough to have a variety of restaurants, shops and all sorts of services. We will 100% be returning to Ischia... most likely more than once and more than twice.

    Visiting Ischai with a car was challenging.

    Visiting Ischai with a car was challenging. We pre booked the Ferry but still needed to exchange our reservation for a ticket. We struggled to locate the ticket office at the port and we couldn't get a ticket for both crossings and was only issued a ticket for the single journey so we needed to locate the ticket office both in our outbound and inbound journey which was a pain. Reversing the car onto the car ferry was also challenging. The Island is a little grubby, the architecture is in poor repair and the roads are challenging. Some of the people were friendly but in general we found the people a little rude and ignorant. Driving was also quite challenging with other drivers being very aggressive. The beaches were a little hit and miss. The beaches in the towns were busy and crowded with locals, if you moved out beyond towns you can find less crowded beaches but with basic facilities. The Island is very hilly and it was too difficult to walk anywhere we needed a car but you can hire scooters very easily on the Island. The food options were very good with Excellent Pizza - We recommend Bar Franco in Lacco Amenco it was one of the highlights our our trip - we went back twice in 4 days.

    Amazing island! Each town has its own vibe.

    Amazing island! Each town has its own vibe. Beaches are so nice, water is beautiful and the people are wonderful. So many restaurants, stores and activities to do. Some of what we enjoyed was La Mortella Gardens, Negombo Thermal Spa, Argoneae Castle (being bathing suits and swim right in front of the castle; make sure to read the sign about the secret that this swimming area offers- so cool). Book a boat day with West Coast Ischia - best day of our trip. Wish we stayed longer! Book

    I really like Ischia, this is my third time there.

    I really like Ischia, this is my third time there. The food is fantastic, the people, it is not pricey but still scenery as Amalfi for an example. The Ischia offers a lot, there are festivals, nightlife, beaches, tours, you can not be bored. There is a buses a lot, you do not need a car, or you can rent a e-bike to explore the island.

    Great for the thermal water baths and being not completely...

    Great for the thermal water baths and being not completely touristy. Can use local busses to get around. Great food. Sant Angelo, Castello Aragonese, Giardini Mortella etc are fun. However prepare for missing sidewalks. Also Capri is only a short ship ride away.

    The rooms are spacious clean and very quiet to sleep at night. The bed was comfortable and had a beautiful sea view from the room. The hotel view and pool area is actually nicer than the pictures . Ischia Porto is just 5 minutes bus ride away and the busy stop is right in front of the hotel. The swimming area is also very beautiful , there are more than 250 steps but it’s worth it to go down and there is a bar service with water , non alcoholic drinks and beer .

    The hosts Sammy and his father were excellent hosts. They advised us on places to see in Ischia, were very friendly and made us feel at home. The terrace of the hotel is spacious with lots of sunchairs,has amazing views and a nice little pool with thermal water. Mornings there were fabulous. Also the location was great- in a quiet part of the island, quite a few good restaurants nearby, small beach within ten minutes’ walk. The bus stop just outside the hotel.

    The property is spacious and well positioned in Forio with a view of the sea and mountains. The bus stop is right in front of the house and it is very easy to get around the island (10 mins to the port of Forio, 45 mins to port of Ischia). Our apartment had 3 terraces. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well-equipped (with water, wine and fresh fruit on arrival). Maurizio is great guy. I definitely recommend Lucia Maison.

    The hotel has some of the best views in Italy - truly magical. Situated near Forio (10 min coastal walk), also a beach nearby down the hill along with Poseidon thermal spa which is the most perfect day out. Seeing is believing! All the hotel staff we’re extremely polite and welcoming, so helpful with booking transfers, boat days etc. What we would normally expect at 5* luxe hotel. Book now!

    The hotel is very unique and beautifully decorated. Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. Upon arrival the hotel owner explained where to find the best beach, the good restaurants etc. Much appreciated! The hotel lies close to Porto d’Ischia. You will also have fairly easy access to the other main parts of the island since there is a bus station nearby.
