Check in was very smooth with Sarah and Linda from housekeeping was very friendly and helpful when we got off the elevator looking for our room. The room was small but adequate for a short stay. We were welcomed with a bottle of Prosceco on ice to congratulate us on our marriage which was very sweet. The breakfast was great as well. The balcony view and the town were amazing. Parking is available to guests in the back or free parking out front if available. We wished we could have stayed longer and would come back.

My balcony was overlooking the beach, I stayed hours with my husband looking at the people and the water, it was very relaxing. Breakfast was good, you could find anything you would like to eat, the waitress that was doing the coffee was very attentive, sweet and on the top of everything. The front desk were very pleasant and helpful. I will be back.

    I don't think many people think of "going to the beach" in...

    I don't think many people think of "going to the beach" in Rome, but it's only about 30 minutes away and costs $1.50 by public transit. The town itself is a little slow when not in high beach season, but there are loads of restaurants and shops to keep you busy if the beach isn't your thing. Public transport is great. And, you can visit incredible recently unearthed Roman Ruins of Ostia Antica very easily.

    It safe to walk at night, the ocean breeze is awesome, the pavement needs to be fixed, rolling a suitcase was not fun. getting there took sometime past nine pm on a friday night no more train.....when the busses was packed, Everything else in Lido di Ostia is awesome, everyone should visit.

    sandy nice beach and restaurants just next to the apartment, easy connection to Rome, clean and cosy apartment to have a nice holiday, enjoyed. Vey attentive host, kindly helped us to book a direct transfer from airport as it was almost midnight when we arrived.

    The place is very unusual, there are mostly local guests of various profiles, sometimes you can feel unsafe even though there is a lot of police and the streets are lit. The center is small but nice and organized, there is a lot of good and cheap food. The great thing is that it is well connected to Rome, the train goes every 15 minutes and in 20 minutes you are in Rome, which is many times more expensive in every sense than Lida di Ostia. Lovers of good beaches and the sea will not be impressed because the sea is shallow and you cannot swim in the depths because stone barriers have been installed, so all you have to do is splash around in the shallows, which are mostly cloudy because the beach is sandy. There is really a lot of garbage on the streets.

    We planned to visit beach and having relaxing days. We achieved our wiches. Great beach, water and weather, supermarkets and other shops with not big price. Location is not so far from Aeroport and Rome. Very good experience.

    Ostia is a beautiful city next to the Airport and just a short ride from Rome. I truly love it there, in the last year I visited 3 times and I cant wait to come back. You can visit Ostia antica or Rome or just chill on a beach and swim in the sea with sand beaches.

    Great location - walking distance to the beach with plenty options for food and drinks. There is also a fantastic restaurant right downstairs. Air conditioning worked and beds were comfortable. Good shower facilities and plenty of towels. Place was also very clean, if a little dated decor wise. Hosts were really helpful and friendly. I would recommend this place for a couple nights stay in Lido di Ostia.

    Location, sympathy of Christian, confort. Frigo with typical italian products that we were not expecting. Facilities and instruments to do some home cooking. Washing machine and needed products. Free beach 10 min walking. Train station 5 min walk, cheap ticket 1.5€ per person Lido- Rome. The host was excellent, gave us transportation from airport despite late arrival at ~ midnight.

    Station House is perfectly located just steps from Ostia Lido Centro rail station with frequent trains to Rome, and also only a few minutes walk to the beach. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped and it was good to have the large terrace too. There is free parking all around. It was a pleasure to communicate with Fabio and his colleague.

    The property was across the road from the beach and it was a great price for the location. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We could not get a taxi to Rome and the staff informed us the best way is to catch a train and patiently explained the best station to get of near our hotel in Rome.
